- If you are selling anything, you need to be in front of your customers, or potential customers, at least once a month. You want to employ a variety of methods to do this-email, faxes, direct mail, blogs, newsletters…(this idea is from Colleen Francis)
- The closing ratio for customers who are referred to you is 5:1 while the closing ratio for cold calls is 75:1 (ouch!)- sobering stats from Colleen Francis

I am back today, fresh from attending Colleen Francis’ Powerhouse Sales seminar at the Hilton Lac Leamy yesterday. Although there were many sales professionals there, small business people were also in attendance. Here are a couple things I learned:
